Patil's resignation comes as a late response and at a very crucial time. At least the thick skinned dress conscious politician who cared more for the salutes and prestige of being high ranked minister.
The displeasure and anger in me was uncontrollable on many occasions during his tenure. The worst comment a home minister could make as a cheif of internal security is "We have information that attacks are being planned, however we do not have specific information however we do not know when, where and how." A primary school student will not hesitate to point out that why we need intelligence if we know answers for such specific information for questions like when where and how.
Out of all the spending of millions of rupees on IB and intelligence is to crack those questions. Whatever may be overall what a disastrous role he played and showcased his incomptency and complacency.
Go away Patil and dont try to be in politics and public service you are a disaster.
